Cookie policy

The cookies and similar technologies Repic uses, why we use them, and how to control the non-essential ones - the product works even if you decline them.

Effective date: 17 July 2026Last updated: 17 July 2026Draft - pending legal review

In plain terms

  • Some cookies are strictly necessary - they keep you signed in and keep the Service secure.
  • The rest (preferences and analytics) should only be set with your consent - the cookie notice that asks for it is still being built, so you have not been asked yet.
  • You can decline the non-essential cookies and Repic still works.
  • You can manage or clear cookies from your browser at any time, and email privacy@repic.site to be excluded from product analytics.
01

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device so it can recognise your browser. "Similar technologies" means related tools that do much the same job - for example local storage in your browser and the small identifiers used to count product events. In this policy we use "cookies" to cover all of them. They let us keep you signed in, remember your choices, keep the Service secure, and understand how the site and Studio are used.

02

Categories we use

We group the cookies we use into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary: the cookies that make the Service function and stay secure - your sign-in session cookie and the CSRF token that protects your requests. These are always on because the Service cannot work without them, and they do not require consent.
  • Functional and preferences: cookies that remember your choices and settings so the product behaves the way you left it. These are optional.
  • Analytics and product events: cookies and identifiers that help us understand how the site and Studio are used - for example page views, CTA clicks, and scroll depth - so we can see what is working and improve it. These are optional.
03

Consent and your choices

Non-essential cookies - functional and analytics - should be set only with your consent. We are building the cookie notice that asks for that consent, and it is not live yet.

Where the cookie notice stands today

We have not yet shipped a cookie banner, so you are not being asked to choose yet. Until it is live you can control cookies through your browser (block or clear them), and you can email privacy@repic.site to ask us to exclude your account from product analytics and we will do it. We would rather say this plainly than describe a consent prompt you have never seen.

You can control cookies through your browser, which lets you block or clear them. If you clear cookies you may be signed out and your preferences may reset. Declining non-essential cookies does not break the product: Repic still works with only the strictly necessary cookies.

04

Third-party and analytics cookies

Our analytics rely on service providers that may set or read cookies on our behalf to measure product usage. They act as our processors and are covered by our privacy policy and sub-processors page. We do not use cookies to sell your personal data. Services you open from Repic but that we do not run (for example Canva) set their own cookies under their own policies.

05

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and, where appropriate, ask for your consent again. Questions about cookies go to privacy@repic.site.
